A steak should be
It shouldn’t be
To cook a steak at home, it will take you about 20 minutes
and you will need a skillet with no plastic parts.
The steak will be on the stove top for a bit, then it will go
into the oven until it’s done to your desire.
Run the frozen (or thawed) steak under water until thawed.
Set a skillet on low heat with liberal amounts of butter
or coconut oil. Also, pre-heat your oven to 300 degrees F.
Dry your steak and season it with
- Coconut oil or Butter
- Sriracha or hot sauce
- Black Pepper
- Turmeric Powder
- A1 Steak Sauce or BBQ Sauce
- Whatever else you’d like
Turn the heat on high and place the seasoned steak
onto the HOT skillet. Let it sear for 3 (or more) minutes.
Flip the steak and let it sear for an additional
3 (or more) minutes.
Grab an oven mit, and place the skillet into the oven
pre-heated at 300 degrees F. Let it bake for 10minutes (rare) or more.
Plate your steak and let it cool for 5 (or more) minutes.
Eat your steak.
Step 8 (optional)
Save some for the girls.
Wash your dishes upon completion. Letting them pile
is for the lazy.
Depending on how you like your steak, cooking times will vary.
My favorite cut of steak is flank. The cut in the above pictures
The thicker the cut the longer the cook time. Chucks are good for a roast. Sirloins are better suited for the grill.
Butter makes the steak tastier than using coconut oil, I used coconut oil this time for added fat.
Have fun experimenting.
